As we begin a new year at Patchings we are once again pleased to announce an interesting and diverse programme of exhibitions and events. We are looking forward to an interesting year ahead which we hope you will be able to enjoy with us, if not by visiting Patchings then via the website. As always the right side of this column has further details of current exhibitions and events.
The Patchings Art School Programme for the whole of 2009 is available in print form and via the website. One of our main aims has always been to encourage the involvement in art and craft. Why not take up the challenge and experience the positives of taking part. Even if Patchings is too far away there are certain to be groups in your area that run courses and workshops.
Planning for the Patchings Festival, 4th to 7th June, has been well in hand since July last year and promises to be another memorable event. The leaflet and advance booking form are due to be published at the end the month. To receive your copy, let us have details of your postal address. There is further information below.
Linked to the Festival is the annual open competition organized with The Artist and Leisure Painter magazines. Entry details are available, see the banner at the top of this page. A reminder, entries can be submitted on line. Again details and the staged process can be followed through this link.
If you require any further information, please email us here.
With best wishes
Liz, Pat and Chas Wood

Many thanks to all those who kindly wrote, telephoned and called in to say how much they enjoyed our Michael Ball concert. In turn we would like to thank Michael for making our day very special indeed. He left us with some very fond memories that will be relived many times.
