We have two exhibitions opening on Saturday 18 April. In the Barn Gallery we welcome a prestigious and award winning artist John Sprakes ROI, RBA, MAFA for an exhibition of his work called A Visual Journey Along Hadrian's Wall. John's work is a visual response to the dramatic and ancient landscape of that part of the country. As part of our Meet the Artist programme John will be working in the gallery on Sunday 3 and 17 May.
Also opening on Saturday is an exhibition hosted by the Nottingham Flickr Group which takes place in the Pavilion. Connected 2015: Visions includes work submitted from talented and passionate amateur and professional photographers from across the country. Alongside the exhibition on Saturday 25 April is a programme of special illustrated presentations by two of UK's most talented outdoor landscape photographers, Mark Littlejohn and Lizzie Shepherd. These begin at 1pm and are open to the public with free admission. Please note the Pavilion Gallery is open daily from 10am to 4pm.
Glorious Glass is the current exhibition in the Crew Yard Gallery. Three leading glass artists present a collection showing their various skills and talents in forming decorative glass. The exhibition continues until 29 March
In the Image Gallery, Pete Bridgwood and Jonathan Horrocks combine their talents with an exhibition called 'Britain'. The exhibition celebrates our incredible country in all her guises. A real celebration of some wonderful scenery captured by two outstanding landscape photographers.
