Organised by The Artist & Leisure Painter magazines in conjunction with Patchings Art Centre. Open to all artists – from beginners to professionals – to enter two-dimensional works in any medium.

Selected works will be exhibited in two galleries at Patchings Art Centre in Nottinghamshire, a unique centre for the enjoyment of art and the environment.

 
PRIZES for PATCHINGS 2009 COMPETITION and EXHIBITION
  ENTRY DETAILS
  1. The entry fee of £10 covers up to
THREE entries. Good quality colour
transparencies (no glass mounts),
photos or prints (no larger than A4
and minimum 300dpi) of two-dimensional
works in any medium should be submitted. No entries to be larger than 120x150cm WHEN FRAMED.

2. Each entry must be clearly marked
with the name and address of the
entrant and the title of the work. Place
your entries in an envelope, on which
you should affix the entry coupon.
Place this into a larger envelope for
posting, together with a suitably sized
and stamped, self-addressed envelope
for the return of your entry. Please fill
in all the details requested on the
coupon.

3. Entries should be posted with the
non-refundable entry fee of £10 per
artist, payable to TAPC to:
TA/LP Patchings 2009 Competition,
63/65 High Street,
Tenterden,
Kent TN30 6BD
to arrive by March 27, 2009.

4. Only one entry per person will be
accepted for exhibition in the category.

6. Entries will be judged after March 29
and 140 selected works called for
(70 in category and 70 in the category).
These MUST BE FRAMED ready for
the exhibition from June 4 to July 12 at Patchings Art Centre.

7. Full details will be given to successful
artists in late April about delivery of
their selected work to Patchings Art
Centre, Calverton, Nottinghamshire,
between May 15 and 27.

8. Every care will be taken with entries
but no responsibility can be accepted
for loss or damage in transit, incoming
or outgoing, whilst on the competition
premises or during the exhibition.
Originals selected and sent in for final
exhibition must be fully insured by the
artist.

9. Originals must be left with the organisers throughout the exhibition.
