THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL
THURSDAY 6 to SUNDAY 9 JUNE 2013
10.00am to 5.00pm daily - except Sunday until 4.30pm
Once again this year's Festival brings together some of the very best in art, craft and design. As a special year, in addition to the nearly 200 talented artists and crafts specialists taking part, we aim to raise the profile of photography at the event. We are therefore delighted to announce that our special guest for Festival Sunday is Charlie Waite.
Charlie is an internationally known landscape photographer and he will be giving an illustrated presentation - ‘Behind the Photograph . . . Making Landscape Photographs’. At the same time as giving this subject a greater profile at the Festival we consider there is no better advocate in promoting photography as an art form.
Sunday once again is our Family Art Day with a variety of opportunities for our younger visitors to try their hand at a variety of art and craft activities. With the Nottingham Concert Band providing our entertainment, it will be great day for families.
We have listed below some exciting events during the Festival.
Main Demonstration Arena
The Main Demonstration Arena has video links for the projection of images and filming.
A limited number of tickets for demonstrations in the Main Demonstration Arena can be purchased in advance along side your entry ticket to the Festival. Apart from Charlie Waite's presentation all other tickets are £2.50
