Daler Rowney Glaze Medium (Acrylics) increases the flow and transparency to facilitate the production of fine glazes which will dry to a gloss finish. Drying times will be retarded and transparency and gloss will develop fully as the colour dries. The matt medium performs in exactly the same manner but will dry to an eggshell finish.
Daler Rowney Impasto Gel Medium (Acrylics) is a white translucent heavy bodied gel which provides a cost effective means of covering large areas with impasto when mixed with acrylic colour. Dries with a matt finish. Opacity is only marginally reduced even with considerable additions of medium to colour. Drying times will be slowed down but not significantly. The marks of the brush and knife will be retained with gel mixed just as with the pure colour, and the same heavy bodied buttery texture is preserved.
Daler Rowney Slow Drying Gell (Acrylics) slows down the drying time of acrylic colour. Add directly to the paint and mix thoroughly on the palette. Increasing proportions of retarder to colour will increase transparency and reduce the viscosity of the colour.
