International watercolourist Jean Haines SWA is well known for her passion of working in her favourite medium, watercolour.
Having lived and travelled in many countries this popular artist has had the opportunity to develop her skills creating incredible paintings whilst under the influence of masters from many countries including Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
It is a welcome return for Jean to the Patchings Festival as she demonstrates on behalf of St Cuthberts Mill, see the programme of her demonstrations by following this link.
Between her demonstrations in the Festival Marquee, Jean can be found in her own marquee (11) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Here you can meet Jean where she will be showing original work, prints and cards. Her demonstration pieces will also be on show.
In addition Jean is a popular author and this year it is a privilege for Patchings as she choses the festival for the stage from which to launch her new book. Published by Search Press, Atmospheric Flowers in Watercolour will be unveiled and available for the first time.
