At this year’s festival we gave visitors the opportunity of helping with a collaborative work based on a well known painting. Each person painted their own small square using the Caran d’ Ache water-soluble coloured wax pastels. Part of the task was also to recognise the famous painting.

During the summer term, the watercolour students take to the outdoors. Three well attended sessions so far which included a visit to Whatton Hall and gardens in Leicestershire and Hodsock Priory, north Notts. Both made us very welcome and those present responding with some super work.
